Guest Lecture on MEMS
Department of ECE organized a Guest Lecture on "MEMS" in association with IETE on 26-10-17 for III-B.Tech ECE Students. The resource person was Dr. Sai Krishna Santhosh.G, Assoc Professor, KL University. The session was conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a total of 115 students were attended the session.
He started his lecture by discussing the importance of MEMS and different applications of MEMS in automobiles, smart phones etc. He discussed about Processing and fabrication methodologies in MEMS structures, a detailed description on Coriolis force which is an important phenomena in designing gyroscopes, also discussed about different gyroscopes. He had given a brief note on packaging and its processing steps. At last, he clarified the doubts from students.
Department of ECE organized a Guest Lecture on "Signals & Systems" by Mr.P.Lingaswamy, ACE Academy, Hyderabad on 8-10-17 for II-B.Tech ECE & EIE Students. The session was conducted from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM, a total of 75 students were attended the session.

Department of ECE organized a seminar on "Industry Exposure to students on Latest Technologies" by G.Pavan Kumar, director of ASP Logic solutions pvt.ltd Bangalore on 19-8-17 for IV-B.Tech ECE Students. He delivered his speech to the students regarding the latest
technologies in software industry and present job opportunities in software and hardware. He introduced the latest technologies like XAMARIN, MICROSOFT AZURE, SAP CRYSTAL REPORTS, MVC, Html5, Angular 2, Video codec, Adobe tools etc.,
Guest Lecture on Next Generation Communication Technologies
On 4.7.17, Dept of ECE arranged a guest lecture on “Next Generation Communication Technologies” as a part of Industry Institute Interaction for the
first year B.Tech ECE students. The resource person was Mr. G. Gopi (General Manager (Rtd) –BSNL) spoke about the challenges in communication and also discussed about the next generation communication systems.

One Week FDP on “Mentor Graphics Tools”
Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Narayana Engineering College, Nellore, organized One Week FDP on “Mentor Graphics Tools” from 8th to 14th February 2018 in
association with IETE. In this FDP, a total of 25 faculty members from NECN and various engineering colleges were participated. The resource persons were Prof. M.Muralidhar, R&D cell in-charge, ECE and K.Murali, Assoc.Prof & HOD, ECE.
The inauguration of the event was started by K. Murali, HOD-ECE; he presented a brief insight about the event. Later, the chief guest Prof. M.Muralidhar, R&D cell in-charge addressed the staff members and said that the staff members should aware of latest technologies in electronics and will be helpful for the growth of personnel and students.
Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Narayana Engineering College, Nellore, organized One Week FDP on “Extension of Embedded System into FPGAs through Hands on Exercises
Using Xilinx Vivado™ Platform And Zynq Architecture” from 7th to 12th December 2017.In this FDP, a total of 50 faculty members from NECN and various engineering colleges were participated. Mr.K.Ramesh Naidu, Manager, CoreEl Technologies was the chief guest for the event. The resource persons were Mr.B.Nagendra,Application Engineer,CoreEl Technologies.
The inauguration of the event was started by lightening the lamp by the dignitaries. Opening ceremony is graced by Dr. G. Srinivasulu Reddy, Principal, NECN. He presented a brief insight about the event. Srinivasulu AVIRENI was born in Thurimella, (A.P), India. He received the B.Tech degree in electronics and communication engineering (e.c.e) from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati in 1986, M.E, degree in power electronics engineering from Gulbarga University, Gulbarga in 1991, M.S, degree in software systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani in 1998 and Ph.D, degree in e.c.e (VLSI Design) from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India in 2010. He worked as a Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Reader, Associate Professor in the department of e.c.e, K.S.R.M. College of Engineering, Kadapa; Defence University Engineering College, Ethiopia; Kigali Institute of Science, Technology &
Management, Rwanda; Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and at present working as a Dean (R&D) and Professor of e.c.e, Vignan's University, Vadlamudi, Guntur, India. He has 27 years of teaching and 17 years of research experience. He has published over 60 articles in international journals and international conference proceedings.
